Which city should you choose to move to Montenegro? Part 2
If you're thinking about moving to Montenegro, we have some more great offers. We continue to introduce you to the best cities to live in this beautiful country. Part 2 👇
Herceg Novi
Herceg Novi is the greenest resort in Montenegro, nicknamed the “botanical garden of the country.” There is clean air, clear sea and a generally calm atmosphere, making the city ideal for families with children. The city is located on a mountainous terrain, so there are many stairs. The local Riviera is considered the most picturesque in the country. Herceg Novi also attracts divers thanks to its rich underwater world and numerous diving schools.
Tivat
Tivat is located on the sunny side of the Bay of Kotor. It is a booming city that is quieter in the off-season than Budva, although it also has a vibrant nightlife all year round. Tivat has plenty of things to do for people of all ages, although kids might get a little bored. The advantage of Tivat is its compactness - the city is easy to get around on foot. It is ideal for year-round living.
Becici
Becici is a resort village located a five-minute drive from Budva. There is a long and wide sand and pebble beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness. This is one of the best places for relaxation and a quiet life with children in Montenegro. In the off-season it is very quiet here, there is only one grocery store and several beach cafes, but the proximity to Budva solves this problem.
Sveti Stefan
Sveti Stefan is a village in the center of the Budva Riviera, famous for its clean beaches and clear sea. Here you can enjoy privacy on an island section of the village closed from tourists. Sveti Stefan has many olive trees, the famous Milocer park, playgrounds, cafes and restaurants, as well as observation decks with views of the island. World stars such as Claudia Schiffer and Sylvester Stallone love to visit this place. It's important to note that the beaches here are mostly private and the nightlife is not as loud as in other places, making Sveti Stefan less suitable for permanent residence.
Each of these cities and towns has its own unique features and advantages. The choice depends on your preferences and needs. If tranquility and nature are important to you, then Herceg Novi and Sveti Stefan would be an excellent choice. Tivat and Becici are suitable for active city life. Regardless of your choice, Montenegro will delight you with its climate, beauty and hospitality.
